How CBT-REBT Helps

Research has shown that Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is an effective treatment
in helping to overcome difficult times for people. If you are experiencing emotions that have been troubling you and are affecting the quality of your daily life, then please call and make an introductory appointment to explore how CBT can help.

Some of the issues Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is effective in helping with are as follows:

  • Anger Management
  • General Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)
  • Eating Disorders, including Anorexia and Bulimia
  • Depression
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Insomnia
  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
  • Pain Management
  • Panic Disorders
  • Phobias
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

As a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Counsellor; specialising in Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT), I am able to help people to help themselves to live happier and more fulfilled lives.

My background includes having worked in the corporate world at senior level, therefore I’m well placed to understand and assist with the difficulties and emotional turbulence that many suffer in their workplace.

Additionally, I am a mother of two children, who have now flown the nest and are leading happy and successful lives. Having, and bringing up children, brings its own challenges and it is because of my personal experience of the difficulties life can sometimes throw at us, that I have chosen to spend this stage of my life helping people to overcome their disturbances, and develop a greater sense of peace within themselves.

Don’t delay in seeking advice. Take the first step by contacting me to arrange a consultation.
